As I mentioned earlier, I had a wonderful Easter! We went to Charlotte and stayed with my grandparents. (All except for my dad, who had to stay home sick) :( I love being with my extended family. My grandparents house feels like a second home. They've lived there since long before I was born, and we've lived in our house for 7 years. We got there Friday night, and then on Saturday we had a nice quiet morning. Before I knew it, it was two o'clock! I decided it was probably time to get dressed. :) That afternoon we went to my aunt and uncle's house for dinner and an Easter Egg hunt, along with my Aunt Julie, Uncle Al, cousin Courtney, and some family friends. We had a great time! Here are some pictures.

Easter morning, we woke up early because my grandparents sing in their church's choir and had to be there for the first service. Mom (aka "The Easter Bunny") said she was going easy on the candy this year, but it didn't quite work out that way. :) The church service was really nice. I love going to church on Easter. It's so special. (I always love church, but especially on Easter!) When I was little, my brothers and I would always sing a song on Easter Sunday, (because my dad was a worship pastor) but we haven't done that in a long time. After the service we came back to my grandparents' house and had lunch. It was a very big lunch! It was all wonderful, but I think my favorite was the pretzel salad. After we ate, Will took a nap, the boys played outside, and I sat with the adults. When Will woke up, it was time for our traditional Easter egg hunt! I had filled the eggs with Starburst jellybeans a few days earlier, so we were ready to go. I love Easter egg hunts. (In case you haven't noticed by now, I'm a big fan of tradition.) I suppose I only have a few years left before I graduate from "hunter" to "hider", so I'm enjoying it while I can. We had plenty of eggs for the 5 of us, so it wasn't exactly competitive, just fun. Reed and Will had a great time. They are good egg hunters! We had leftovers for dinner, and then we had to come back home. It was a wonderful trip! Here are a few more pictures. I hope I didn't bore you to death!
You can tell we're tired!
Lunch.... the picture is great of everyone except Reed!
I managed to squeeze in some knitting!
We're ready to go!
