Because I can't think of a more creative post title.

First of all, be sure to check out the brand new calendar website!
I have been knitting quite a bit lately. I have 2 skeins of sock yarn waiting to be used, but I haven't gotten around to starting any yet. Someday it will happen. I finished a scarf, and I'm completely in love with it, but I haven't taken a picture yet. School will be starting soon, (I'll be a senior!) I'll be 18 in a few weeks, a ton of my friends have left for college, and things are about to get to get crazy again.

Pastel Ballband!

My fishy. It makes me happy! It was so easy, and I did the whole thing in one sitting.

Summer Photo shoot

Happy August! I've had such a lovely week. For the first time in I don't know how long, I've hardly been anywhere, and it's been so nice. I need time at home every now and then. I got out all of my scrapbooking supplies and completed 6 pages so far. I love knitting so much, but I think I have the most fun when I'm really into a scrapbook page. I've been reading a lot this summer. When we went to the beach in June I started the Anne of Green Gables series. Mom made me read them when I was 12, and I hated them. (Mainly because I was reading them against my will.) I decided to give them another try, and I'm in love. They make me happy! I'm in the middle of Rilla of Ingleside now, and I'm going to be very sad once I'm finished. I don't know that I've ever enjoyed books quite so much. I've spent enough time with my friends this summer to be very content. I've had a sleepover nearly every week! It really has been a wonderful summer, and I can't believe how fast it's gone by. My 18th birthday is less than a month away. Last week (I think) Jamey and I had a little photo shoot in the yard. Photographers we ain't, but it was fun. Here are the results.

P.S. I just finished Rilla of Ingleside. I haven't been able to put it down all day. Now I want to curl up in bed and read, but read what? Yes, I have other books I wanted to read, but nothing seems quite as nice. At the moment almost feel as though there isn't anything to look forward to. Oh well, I suppose I'll get over it. My goodness, I love those books....
