It's hard to believe that it's almost 2011, but it will be here before you know it!Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-62100944241153156522010-09-16T10:39:00.002-04:002010-09-16T11:02:37.159-04:00Chad!<div>So, as of two days ago, I am now the proud owner of a car! God provided me with one for a VERY affordable price, and although it's rather old, it only has 45,000 miles on it. I still haven't quite gotten used to the idea! His name is Chad. There is a story behind this name. One day I was on facebook, and I stepped away from the computer for a second. My dear brother seized the opportunity and began to type a status for me. While holding me back with his right hand, with his left he typed, "Lindy was awake all night dreaming of Chad and wondering if she ruined her chances with him." I do <u>not</u> know anyone named Chad. I have <u>never</u> known anyone named Chad. From that day on, whenever I would accidentally leave my facebook up, Chad would appear again, courtesy of Jamey. "Oh Chad, I count the days 'til we can be together!" and etc. It keeps everyone entertained. Now Chad is the name of my car. Take that Jamey. :)</div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/TJItdCwQf1I/AAAAAAAADAg/YtvwaVs6G0k/s1600/DSCN7265.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/TJItdCwQf1I/AAAAAAAADAg/YtvwaVs6G0k/s320/DSCN7265.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5517522470461013842" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/TJItctxZh7I/AAAAAAAADAY/hfub7y3L_q0/s1600/DSCN7271.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/TJItctxZh7I/AAAAAAAADAY/hfub7y3L_q0/s320/DSCN7271.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5517522464828655538" /></a>Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-37240693187581507862010-09-13T08:59:00.004-04:002010-09-13T09:55:21.355-04:00My 19th birthday and highlights from part 2 of my senior year.<div>Hi. Yes, it has been over a month since I have blogged, and this time, I'm afraid I have no good excuse. Perhaps I'm just out of the habit. Since I blogged last, I turned 19! I had a wonderful, although uneventful birthday. Kirby helped me celebrate. :)</div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/TI4nAcZ4XHI/AAAAAAAADAQ/ThdXBklEvCg/s1600/IMG_9419.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/TI4nAcZ4XHI/AAAAAAAADAQ/ThdXBklEvCg/s320/IMG_9419.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5516389482153663602" /></a><br /><div>I thought I would share a few pictures from major events during my last days of highschool. It was hard to limit myself, but I have chosen only one or two from each occasion. Be very proud of me.<br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Kara was spending the night, and it started to snow! In the morning we made snowmen. It has been such a struggle trying to get it fixed, and I highly doubt it's fixed now. There's no reason to go into that. I shall now attempt to get any readers I have left caught up on my life. Hopefully I'll be able to go back later and post pictures from the remainder of my senior year, but for now I'll stick with what's happened this summer. </div><div> My summer began with a rather exciting event: my high school graduation! It was a very special day, and I still can't quite believe it happened. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/TGHbCBpUJsI/AAAAAAAAC8I/jfsto-_02w8/s320/IMG_8974.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5503921047471400642" /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div><div style="text-align: center;">My wonderful friend Kara made my graduation cake for me. A week from tomorrow, I will be graduating from high school! This year has gone by so fast; I've hardly gotten used to being a senior, and now here I am. I'm certainly looking forward to being done! After Tuesday I will be finished forever. You may or may not be wondering what I'm going to be doing in the fall, but I'll tell you anyhow. :) I'm doing something rather unconventional, I'm not going to college. *gasp* I've never felt that God was calling me to go for 4 years, but up until several months ago I was planning on getting a business degree at the local community college. As my parents and I prayed about it, however, we began to feel that that wasn't where God wanted me after all. It's always been my dream to own a small yarn shop, so over the next few years, I'm hoping to work at the type of shop I'd like to own, so I can get some practical experience. I'll also be looking for classes on how to run a small business, and so forth. It's going to be an adventure! It certainly won't be easy, and I don't exactly know what I'm doing, but I know that God has brought me this far, and His faithfulness is unchanging! I can't wait to see where He takes me from here.Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-77137866545832986652010-02-11T17:39:00.005-05:002010-03-15T15:40:00.713-04:00Christian Youth Theatre ~ Around the World in 80 DaysIn spite of the fact that I still can't upload pictures, I do feel the need to stop by and say hello every *ahem* several months or so. Ok, I probably won't win the blogger of the year award. It really is a shame, because I've had so much to tell you about... but most of it involves pictures. Computers have many benefits, but when they cease to work, they cause an abundance of frustration. Anyhow, I had promised pictures from the play, but by the time the computer is actually working right I will have moved on, and will very likely never go back to January. One of the dads is a professional photographer, and he took pictures before, during, and after the play. Here are links to a couple. (Yes, I'm pretty desperate.)<div><br /></div><div><br /><div><a href="http://middlemanphotography.com/Christian-Youth-Theater/2010/Around-the-World-in-80-Days/11099794_JzEV8#777427691_zJoPa">This is me with Karyn, the other stage director. It was definitely one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life, but it was completely worth it. I loved spending time with the kids, and God really taught me so much! I'm so very proud of all of them.</div></div>Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-33353007050766811292010-01-23T15:18:00.004-05:002010-01-23T15:36:09.121-05:00Crazy WeekAlas, I am still unable to post pictures. It's almost like not being able to breathe. Oh well. I'll have to get that taken care of soon, because we're in the middle of another CYT play! This has actually been kind of a crazy week. My mom has been out of town taking care of my grandparents since Tuesday. My grandmother has been having heart problems (she spent a few days in the hospital) and their hot water has been leaking for goodness knows how long, leaving their house a moldy disaster that was making them sick. Mom should be coming home tomorrow, but there has been a lot for her to do. Meanwhile, I've been taking care of lunch and dinner, keeping up with my schoolwork, and going to play rehearsals nearly every night! Needless to say, it's been sort of a crazy week. Zach's CYT class will be performing Around the World in 80 Days next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and (like the last two years) I'll be stage directing. This year the other stage director is my friend Karyn. I really don't know what I would do without her! This is by far the most involved play I have helped with, between costume changes, entrances, exits, and so many other things! It's hard to think about anything else. We have so many wonderful people who help; it's such a great example of the body of Christ in action. Thinking about what must happen over the next week is kind of intimidating, but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God has called me here, and He always gives us strength for what He calls us to do! It will be an adventure.Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-39008456433468018482010-01-03T14:06:00.002-05:002010-01-03T14:21:54.773-05:00So, I haven't posted since last year. Considering that it's January 3rd, that's doesn't sound so bad, but I also haven't posted since late October. My computer hasn't been letting me post pictures, and I just haven't felt like messing with it. Couldn't I have written a post without pictures? Of course, but is that fun? Not so much, but I still can't get it to work and I figure that this is better than nothing. If you're reading this, hopefully it means that you haven't given up on me. Thank you very much. I hope you all had a good Christmas! Mine was wonderful; possibly the best I've ever had! We stayed at home for the first time since 2003, and my grandparents came for a week. It was great! We played lots of games, and just enjoyed being together. I've had such a wonderful, peaceful, 2nd half of December, and now I'm preparing to dive into crazy January! I will be working on a new CYT play very soon, and I'm starting school again tomorrow. It's going to be an intense month, but I'm looking forward to it!Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-28868443213619899312009-10-20T20:44:00.004-04:002009-10-22T08:53:26.954-04:00Finally!<div> My mobile<br /><br /><div><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5dmXpbw4I/AAAAAAAAC5I/-p6RzJ8lb6s/s1600-h/DSCN2949.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394852317400646530" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5dmXpbw4I/AAAAAAAAC5I/-p6RzJ8lb6s/s320/DSCN2949.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5dl4BaXPI/AAAAAAAAC5A/MwBZPw1OZbk/s1600-h/DSCN2942.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394852308911283442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5dl4BaXPI/AAAAAAAAC5A/MwBZPw1OZbk/s320/DSCN2942.jpg" border="0" /></a> It won a first place ribbon at the NC State Fair!<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394852324522915122" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5dmyLg9TI/AAAAAAAAC5Q/ofMcD9bZ29U/s320/DSCN3133.jpg" border="0" /></div><br /><div> </div><br /><div>Tiny elephant made from sock yarn (That's a quarter)<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394852338795613490" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5dnnWZDTI/AAAAAAAAC5Y/v_05pnNFIsY/s320/DSCN3202.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br /><div>Baby set</div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394850875229250722" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5cSbI-pKI/AAAAAAAAC4w/Q7w5gZ76XfA/s320/DSCN2928.jpg" border="0" /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5cUMuO7FI/AAAAAAAAC44/ejlkjRM3S_s/s1600-h/DSCN2931.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394850905718713426" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5cUMuO7FI/AAAAAAAAC44/ejlkjRM3S_s/s320/DSCN2931.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><br /><div>My scarf! There's this one little thing that keeps getting in the way. It's usually refered to as "life". Oh well. One of these days, you will see all of my recently finished projects, but that day is not today. Today I am posting about my birthday party. As you may remember, my birthday was at the beginning of September, but my party was this past weekend. It was going to be on the 26th of September, but alas, it rained. It was certainly worth waiting for! Spending time with my friends means a lot to me, and I had such a wonderful time. We threw a frisbee, went for a walk in the woods, and had a bonfire after dinner. I have such special friends.<br /><br />Me, Rebekah, Laura, Kelsey, Hope, and Alex<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394846129690318370" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5X-MoVFiI/AAAAAAAAC4I/AxQcknV5mNE/s320/IMG_7165.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br />Back in the woods<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394845086626739170" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5XBe6l8-I/AAAAAAAAC3g/nogBwdQBkdw/s320/DSCN2989.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394845087056574738" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5XBghEuRI/AAAAAAAAC3o/2rPieC3oq-I/s320/DSCN3005.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br />Kelsey, Emma, and me<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394845094784939170" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5XB9TqNKI/AAAAAAAAC3w/hOugzACchZk/s320/DSCN3055.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br />Group picture 1<br /><div><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5XCUD1tgI/AAAAAAAAC34/PnNYcjeydRM/s1600-h/DSCN3114.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394845100892599810" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5XCUD1tgI/AAAAAAAAC34/PnNYcjeydRM/s320/DSCN3114.jpg" border="0" /></a> </div><div>Group picture 2<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5394845106019098130" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/St5XCnKF3hI/AAAAAAAAC4A/m6pksFzdqEw/s320/DSCN3116.jpg" border="0" /></div></div>Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-63801454868742422272009-10-11T22:46:00.002-04:002009-10-11T22:59:41.860-04:00Pictures from 1997<div>Hi! I've been such a horrible blogger lately. I have several completed projects, and I've taken pictures of them, but I haven't gotten around to uploading them yet. Hopefully soon! I finally bought buttons for my baby sweater, and it's finished. Then there are those scarves I made.... There is just too much going on. It's still hard to believe that this is my Senior year. I have quite a bit of school work to do each day, but I don't have a math class this year, which is wonderful. The other day I learned how to use our scanner. I went a little crazy. Once I got started, it was hard to stop. Here are a few pictures from 1997. :)</div><div> </div><div>Baby Zach and me. :)</div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/StKZwTT3FnI/AAAAAAAAC3Y/oxdsHh321SQ/s1600-h/sc015bbe42.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 226px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/StKZwTT3FnI/AAAAAAAAC3Y/oxdsHh321SQ/s320/sc015bbe42.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5391540759012251250" /></a><br /><div>Jamey and me.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/StKZwM3UvkI/AAAAAAAAC3Q/CdLhGgjtybk/s1600-h/sc015a1749.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 229px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/StKZwM3UvkI/AAAAAAAAC3Q/CdLhGgjtybk/s320/sc015a1749.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5391540757281947202" /></a><br /></div><div>Early knitting! Now the boys and I each have a book with pages of things we said when we were little. I thought I'd share some of mine with you. :) (Keep in mind that all of this is written from Mom's perspective.)<br /><br />First sentence at 14 months - "Belt, eat it."<br /><br />17 1/2 months<br />-"Nanny, read it to you again....lap" ("you" means me.)<br />-"Sit counter too. Dry hair with Mommy."<br />-"Where are you, pacifier?"<br /><br />19 months<br />-When asked what she was holding, "Aunt Julie's keys. I sure do like 'em."<br /><br />24 months<br />- When looking at her new birthday dresses, she (having heard me the day before say something similar) said, "We'll wait 'til the weather gets cold before we wear those. Those dresses are the <span style="font-style: italic;">cutest</span> ones I've <span style="font-style: italic;">ever</span> seen!"<br />-Lindy and I were playing in her room and she said, as she pulled out her little pink new testament, "Are you going to look in your very own Bible and see if God and Jesus put the baby in Mommy's tummy?" so she opened up her Bible and turned through severyal pages and then looked up with excitement and said, "Well, I think He did!"<br /><br />36 months<br />- (Dialogue between her stuffed animals...) This particular time, she was pretending her big teddy bear was the daddy and the little one was the baby and the daddy's hand was rubbing the baby's head and I overheard her say, "'She's looking pretty for a baby', says the daddy, smiling at her with a little brown smile as he touches her head with his fuzzy little hand."<br /><br />38 months<br />-"Jamey needs those toys to keep him occupied."<br />-"I believe Jamey is indifferent about those toys I brought for him."<br />-"I got Jamey some splendid toys, I tell ya.<br />-"You'd better wash me up at once!"<br /><br />Age 4<br />-At bedtime, Lindy said first, "Would you like to lay down with me?"... then later, "Would you like to rub my hair?" and after awhile, "Would you like to leave now?"<br /><br />Age 5<br />- "I know something I love more than a library book that I don't ever have to give back... you!"<br /><br />Age 6<br />- When bobbing for apples, "I get to get apple baptized!"Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-78671558612427537762009-09-18T16:38:00.005-04:002009-09-18T18:05:00.228-04:00My 18th Birthday<div>This post is sadly overdue. My 18th birthday was almost two weeks ago, but seeing how I am still 18, I suppose I'm not too late. :) I spent my birthday and the week after in SC with my grandparents, because my parents were in Canada for a conference and then an anniversary trip. (Their 20th anniversary is this week!) I missed them, but they had a wonderful trip, and I'm so glad they were able to go. I had a great birthday! I went shopping with my grandmother, and my aunt and uncle took me out to eat for dinner. Being 18 feels sort of strange. There are things I can do now that I couldn't before. For example, I could (I think): </div><div>- Change my name</div><div>- Elope</div><div>- Buy cigarettes</div><div>- Get a tattoo or piercing</div><div>However, I do not intend to do any of those things, so it really doesn't matter. I DID stay in the pool for "adult swim" on Labor Day. :) The next week was great. The boys and I were able to spend time with family on both sides, and it was a special way to end the summer. We have now started school, and I'm in the middle of my Senior year! It's pretty crazy.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Mom and Dad in Canada</div><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SrP20VFTKsI/AAAAAAAAC24/CFixpJ7V2fE/s1600-h/IMG_7021.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5382917358510877378" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SrP20VFTKsI/AAAAAAAAC24/CFixpJ7V2fE/s320/IMG_7021.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />Out to eat for my birthday. I have 2 skeins of sock yarn waiting to be used, but I haven't gotten around to starting any yet. Someday it will happen. I finished a scarf, and I'm completely in love with it, but I haven't taken a picture yet. School will be starting soon, (I'll be a senior!) I'll be 18 in a few weeks, a ton of my friends have left for college, and things are about to get to get crazy again. </div><div><br /></div><div>Pastel Ballband!<br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SoyEdIB3bCI/AAAAAAAAC14/9os0QTJbYkY/s1600-h/DSCN2762.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5371814091452541986" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SoyEdIB3bCI/AAAAAAAAC14/9os0QTJbYkY/s320/DSCN2762.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />My <a href="http://www.knittingknonsense.com/fishytawashi.html">fishy</a>. I've had such a lovely week. For the first time in I don't know how long, I've hardly been anywhere, and it's been so nice. I need time at home every now and then. I got out all of my scrapbooking supplies and completed 6 pages so far. I love knitting so much, but I think I have the most fun when I'm really into a scrapbook page. I've been reading a lot this summer. When we went to the beach in June I started the Anne of Green Gables series. Mom made me read them when I was 12, and I hated them. (Mainly because I was reading them against my will.) I decided to give them another try, and I'm in love. They make me happy! I'm in the middle of Rilla of Ingleside now, and I'm going to be very sad once I'm finished. I don't know that I've ever enjoyed books quite so much. I've spent enough time with my friends this summer to be very content. I've had a sleepover nearly every week! It really has been a wonderful summer, and I can't believe how fast it's gone by. My 18th birthday is less than a month away. Last week (I think) Jamey and I had a little photo shoot in the yard. Photographers we ain't, but it was fun. Here are the results.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn22TJzNYlI/AAAAAAAAC0w/yRnKKgigsxE/s1600-h/DSCN2697.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367646771059974738" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn22TJzNYlI/AAAAAAAAC0w/yRnKKgigsxE/s320/DSCN2697.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn22Si7Mn-I/AAAAAAAAC0o/PT5hf2JgVOk/s1600-h/DSCN2686.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367646760624496610" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn22Si7Mn-I/AAAAAAAAC0o/PT5hf2JgVOk/s320/DSCN2686.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn22SaOE3kI/AAAAAAAAC0g/QfIuD9tqrjI/s1600-h/DSCN2689.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367646758287760962" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn22SaOE3kI/AAAAAAAAC0g/QfIuD9tqrjI/s320/DSCN2689.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn22SENtq6I/AAAAAAAAC0Y/imHNVzQOzMc/s1600-h/DSCN2682.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367646752380660642" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn22SENtq6I/AAAAAAAAC0Y/imHNVzQOzMc/s320/DSCN2682.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn20wN3GiII/AAAAAAAAC0Q/VU0N_parpFI/s1600-h/DSCN2668.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367645071342995586" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn20wN3GiII/AAAAAAAAC0Q/VU0N_parpFI/s320/DSCN2668.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn20v2cIFTI/AAAAAAAAC0I/iQHY3yfWqIQ/s1600-h/DSCN2664.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367645065055835442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn20v2cIFTI/AAAAAAAAC0I/iQHY3yfWqIQ/s320/DSCN2664.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn20vqPBxpI/AAAAAAAAC0A/pXgmXR_pBYc/s1600-h/DSCN2660.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367645061779670674" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn20vqPBxpI/AAAAAAAAC0A/pXgmXR_pBYc/s320/DSCN2660.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn20vfu6I-I/AAAAAAAACz4/1Cm1N0HGGps/s1600-h/DSCN2659.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367645058960597986" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn20vfu6I-I/AAAAAAAACz4/1Cm1N0HGGps/s320/DSCN2659.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn20u2gsUcI/AAAAAAAACzw/QI0Kyi7M_sA/s1600-h/DSCN2658.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367645047895118274" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Sn20u2gsUcI/AAAAAAAACzw/QI0Kyi7M_sA/s320/DSCN2658.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />P.S. I just finished Rilla of Ingleside. I haven't been able to put it down all day. Now I want to curl up in bed and read, but read what? Yes, I have other books I wanted to read, but nothing seems quite as nice. At the moment almost feel as though there isn't anything to look forward to. Oh well, I suppose I'll get over it. My goodness, I love those books....<div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-52695012818296404972009-07-29T16:16:00.003-04:002009-07-31T09:09:18.797-04:00Free Pattern ~ Bunny Tracks<div>This pattern is the result of an idea that I was messing around with. It was great. We all sat in the kitchen and enjoyed each other's company as we worked. I can't even remember the last time I did something like that with friends, and I hope we can do it again! I loved seeing what everyone came up with. I wish I'd brought my camera. Whenever I leave it at home I always regret it. I did take pictures once I baked them at home. I made the flower basket and fish there, and the others the next day with some left over inspiration. :)<br /><div><br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SnCrAUK5GyI/AAAAAAAACzQ/TC7Yec6Mgzk/s1600-h/DSCN2645.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363975178101005090" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SnCrAUK5GyI/AAAAAAAACzQ/TC7Yec6Mgzk/s200/DSCN2645.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SnCq_TT-B8I/AAAAAAAACzA/k0ewtNH_FOI/s1600-h/DSCN2642.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363975160690771906" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SnCq_TT-B8I/AAAAAAAACzA/k0ewtNH_FOI/s200/DSCN2642.jpg" border="0" /></a> </div><div>Mini <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">tea set</span><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363975185175595634" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SnCrAuhmynI/AAAAAAAACzY/0fRjKawDfxs/s200/DSCN2652.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363975715898936626" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SnCrfnn6TTI/AAAAAAAACzg/hk6WXKXVXWU/s200/DSCN2643.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SnCq_HsSWNI/AAAAAAAACy4/_ccU9miGug4/s1600-h/DSCN2641.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363975157571541202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SnCq_HsSWNI/AAAAAAAACy4/_ccU9miGug4/s200/DSCN2641.jpg" border="0" /></a> </div></div></div></div></div>Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-82298664092505114832009-07-26T14:47:00.003-04:002009-07-26T15:13:07.033-04:00Froot Loop Socks! These socks make me happy, and that pretty much says it all.<br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5362847979409243570" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Smyp0t0b_bI/AAAAAAAACyY/07TB3U_bjsw/s320/DSCN2604.jpg" border="0" /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Smyp1NKNNGI/AAAAAAAACyo/qLCpsu7prTY/s1600-h/DSCN2607.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5362847987822048354" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Smyp1NKNNGI/AAAAAAAACyo/qLCpsu7prTY/s320/DSCN2607.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5362848836807280466" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/Smyqmn4Dx1I/AAAAAAAACyw/TmtrWvDy4bQ/s320/DSCN2622.jpg" border="0" /></div>Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-75155001230315398652009-07-19T16:34:00.006-04:002009-07-21T11:14:43.432-04:00Daniel: An Uncompromising Life<div>Now, you may be thinking, weren't you in Daniel last summer? (Actually, you probably weren't thinking that, because I highly doubt that anyone remembers what I posted on my blog last summer.) Anyway, I was, but we did it again. We started meeting the first week the first Monday in June, and this weekend was the performance, so things have been pretty crazy. It's so hard to believe it's over. You're with everyone nearly every day for two weeks, and suddenly life is back to normal. Kind of sad. I wish you could have been there for the play. But GUESS WHAT?!?!?! <a href="http://www.tangle.com/view_video?viewkey=cb810cbdbe7e3252b4e9">You can see one of the songs online</a>! This is the song the 4 boys sing before Daniel <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">interprets</span> King <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Nebuchadnezzer's</span> dream with the statue. It was taken during a sound check before dress rehearsal, and they were being a little more dramatic than usual, but not much. You really should <a href="http://www.tangle.com/view_video?viewkey=cb810cbdbe7e3252b4e9">watch it</a>! :) God answered all of our prayers and took it above and beyond last year's in so many amazing ways! Most of the main characters were the same, but we added several new songs. It was a wonderful experience! It was a hard 6 weeks in many ways, but I'm so thankful to have been a part. You can't be around <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">CYT</span> and say God doesn't work in miraculous ways anymore. On Saturday one girl was REALLY sick, (Possibly swine flu..... not good) but she was able to be onstage for the one dance where we needed her most. There are so many stories like that. That describes my Sunday. Kara, my best friend, turned 19, and her family invited me to go to the beach with them for the day! We had so much fun. Kara and I dug a big hole in the sand and buried ourselves, (while singing songs from The Little Mermaid!) and played in the ocean with her brothers. I love her family so much, and I LOVE her! Happy Birthday Kara! </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>A picnic at the park</div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358376050072010450" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SlzGoK2AvtI/AAAAAAAACvQ/w-dF01AXSjU/s320/DSCN2426.jpg" border="0" /></div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Birthday cupcakes! </div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358376055791573410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SlzGogJqWaI/AAAAAAAACvY/3RtJrWrKn1s/s320/DSCN2432.jpg" border="0" /></div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Kara and Jonathan</div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358376070086046626" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SlzGpVZus6I/AAAAAAAACvg/Fdny1vx6iGg/s320/DSCN2435.jpg" border="0" /></div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358377867247846098" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SlzIR8WfgtI/AAAAAAAACwI/QtSa5b4idzU/s320/DSCN2438.jpg" border="0" /><br />Our amazing hole. </div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358376086712890226" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SlzGqTV4M3I/AAAAAAAACvw/djzovqZG5H4/s320/DSCN2447.jpg" border="0" /></div></div></div></div></div></div><br /><p>We match! </p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358376845361919426" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SlzHWdh5tcI/AAAAAAAACv4/KEcbo3z_-eE/s320/DSCN2450.jpg" border="0" /></p><br /><p></p><p>Kara and her parents at Cracker Barrel.</p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358376853394262370" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SlzHW7c9iWI/AAAAAAAACwA/FtKMqsZVRf4/s320/DSCN2460.jpg" border="0" /></p>Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-89285024057812797802009-07-08T12:44:00.007-04:002009-07-08T13:49:28.687-04:00A random assortment of thoughts, news, and pictures<div><div><div><div><div>Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a lovely July. I am, although I'm tired of the heat. I doubt I'll melt, but at times I feel like I might. I'm looking forward to fall weather, but I don't want summer to end! Right now I have the house pretty much to myself. Jamey went somewhere with a friend, and Zach is at CYT summer camp. We're in the middle of the last two weeks of rehearsals for the next CYT play, (We're doing Daniel again!) but there is no rehearsal tonight. I'm enjoying the rest! I'm going to curl up with either a half finished sock or the cross-stitch project that I've been working on for years and have yet to finish. Maybe both. I have the worst time deciding what to work on. Do I cross-stitch? Draw? Read? Knit? If I knit, then what should I knit? What about all of the little things that I have to do at some point? Have I forgotten anything I really needed to do? *sigh* Life is full of decisions, and sadly, I am not the worlds best at making them.</div><div><br /><div>Anyway, about the calendar. I sat down to say something about it, and here I've typed a whole paragraph about nothing in particular and have yet to mention it! Be sure to visit the blog for the <a href="http://2010knittingcalendar.blogspot.com/">201</a><a href="http://2010knittingcalendar.blogspot.com/">0 knitting calendar</a>! (Belated, obviously.) I hope that you all had as nice a day as I did. My family and I spent the day at my Aunt Pam and Uncle Jim's house, along with my cousin Abbie, (age 4), my Uncle Warren, and my cousin Seamus. (also age 4) We all had so much fun. I wish we were able to spend more time together. We had a cookout, and then I played out in the yard with Seamus and Abbie most of the afternoon. We flew in our "plane" (the swingset) and chased a lot of snow monsters. :) It was great, but they wore me out! Once it was dark, we shot off a bunch of (NC legal!) fireworks. A picture is worth a thousand words so.....<br /><br />Much love, from Kirby.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355106328390779170" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SlEo1UYtwSI/AAAAAAAACuA/OJbmB3RghnE/s320/DSCN2242.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br />Uncle Jim at the grill.<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355103697627009458" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UXOXpj4ptGw/SlEmcMBwUbI/AAAAAAAACsw/qj8wC8cZVgs/s320/IMG_6237.jpg" border="0" /><br /><br />Abbie and Seamus. I was eleven when I started writing in it. It's so funny! When I look at old pictures of myself I tend to think of myself as pretty much the same, just younger looking. That (quite obviously) is not the case. My old journal, in a way, is more interesting than the one I keep now, because I really wrote down what I felt, instead of what I wanted to remember. I could be very dramatic at times! Things were so important then that I hardly think about now. I go from talking about some deep secret to writing that I got new "Juicy Apple" shampoo and conditioner, to commenting that the fish we had for dinner was "edible" to worrying about money. Some things I wrote are surprisingly deep, some are interesting, and some are just funny! I had so much fun with it that I thought I might share a few quotes with you. (Original spelling!) The funniest things are, I'm afraid, a little too personal to post. :)<div><br /></div><div>"I would rather have Nanny and Granddaddy come tomorrow than be the First Lady and a <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Billionare</span> when I grow up!"</div><div><br /></div><div>"When I turned 11, my Whole prospect of boys changed. Don't tell anyone about this, OK"?</div><div><br /></div><div>"there are no words to <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">discribe</span> how I feel about spring."</div><div><br /></div><div>"Once he called and talked to everyone and when we said goodbye we both said "I love you" and neither one of us thought the other was weird."</div><div><br /></div><div>"Courtney is coming tomorrow! I can't wait! I wont be able to write to you for awhile because she will sleep with me like she always does. (<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Halelewya</span>!)" (Courtney is my cousin)</div><div><br /></div><div>"I wish asking someone to go home was good manners."</div><div><br /></div><div>"Its a very long story but the bottom line is that he is an annoying little brother who gets mad when you want time alone with your best friend even if you and your best friend have been playing with him all day and he gets you SO mad that you get him in a choke hold and then he tells your Mom and Dad and you have to come in for the rest of the afternoon and your so upset that when your dad tells you to come turn your light off and you're getting out of an E-mail and then he tell you to hurry up and you yell I'm Coming and he thinks it's <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">ment</span> to be <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">disrespetful</span> so he sends you to your room and gets really mad. See what I mean?" (I somehow imagine that that whole scenario was slightly different than I described it... :) )</div><div><br /></div><div>"Just so you know, my life is not a boring as it sounds. I just don't write about EVERYTHING because I just don't have enough time!"</div>Lindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01087573396122098381noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962085281907491768.post-2446197286368221282009-06-24T12:14:00.005-04:002009-06-24T12:40:52.312-04:00On the subject of tea, and etc...A cup of tea and a good book. It sounds so very appealing! Several months ago I was very definitely NOT a tea drinker. I'd tried it once or twice, and I thought it was gross. My friend Kara was very much a tea person. She talked all the time about how wonderful it was! It sounded like fun, but when we were together I'd always drink hot chocolate. Then one afternoon (I had had a very hard day.) I decided I needed a cup of tea. I'm not sure why, I just did. I had a vague idea of how to fix it, because Kara showed me once. Soon I was sitting in my chair with a cup of raspberry tea, and lo and behold, I liked it! Go figure. Tea and I are now great friends. I'm also falling in love with teacups, and I've started collecting them. Here are some pictures of my favorites. (Actually, most of my collection.)<br /><br /> My chicken miniature tea set.
