My first Garterlac cloth

I'm planning on teaching knitting lessons this summer. I needed a project for the advanced class, and someone suggested the Garterlac dishcloth. Great idea. However, if one is going to teach something, it might help if one has tried it first. Hence, my very first Garterlac cloth! It took me a little while to get the hang of it, (Ok, I almost quit) but I finally figured it out, and I think I'm going to use it for my lessons. It was so much fun to make! I love the way it looks. Here's a picture.

Looks great! It's not something that you can easily pick up(and put down) and knit! I needed to concentrate working on this cloth...but it's worth the extra effort :)

Your garterlac cloth looks wonderful! I love the pink variegated yarn, too.
Hope the lessons go very well. :)
