My elephant and Ravelry

My life is about to get crazy! My schedule is packed this month. There are several things in the next few weeks that I am very excited about! I'll keep you posted. In addition to everything I have this month, I'm getting ready for a craft sale in May. I probably won't be doing quite so much "just because" knitting, but we'll see. We've been getting a lot of rain here. That gets old after awhile, but at least it's getting rid of some of the pollen. For someone with allergies, that's definitely something to be thankful for! Kirby has been enjoying the spring in spite of the rain, as this picture proves. :)

This cloth is made from a pattern from Harvest Moon Designs.

Now for my big(ish) news. I'm on Ravelry! I know, it took me long enough. I'd heard people talking about it, but for some reason I never actually signed up. Now that I have an account, I can't believe I waited so long! It's wonderful. :) Look me up; my user name is madebylindy. Don't ask me how I ended up searching for toy elephants, but I did, and this is what I ended up with. Isn't it cute? I'm going to make more. It makes me happy whenever I see it sitting by my chair. I think it's a boy, but I haven't decided yet.

Kirby looks like a happy camper with the great weather we've been having. :) Looks like we're going to have a dogwood winter for the next few days
though.

I love the elephant! It's really cute in that color. I have the pattern stashed for when I get the notion to make one.

Hope you get some time to relax in the next month. Don't work too hard. :)
