Someone on the KAL group sent in (about 2 weeks ago) a message saying that Amazon was selling Sugar'n Cream yarn for 40 cents a skein! I bought a LOT. (81 skeins) I couldn't afford not to! :) I was really dissapointed though. I had initially put 2 or so of each color in my cart, and then I went through adding more. Somehow, when I clicked "update cart" It didn't work, so I didn't buy as much as I wanted to. So, I only had 1 of some colors when I wanted 5. Oh well, I'm just lucky I got any. Here's a picture of me and my yarn. The picture of me is terrible, but that's not really the point.

There were a lot of people buying during that sale (sadly, I didn't check my email till the sale was over!). The reason why you didn't get everything you asked for was that so many people were throwing it into their cart and buying it up at the same time that it turned into a bit of a first come first serve issue. So if they had six skeins of blue yarn left and you had four skeins in your cart and someone else had four skeins in their cart, and that other person checked out before you, that person got four skeins and that only left two for you.
At least, that's what a few people told me happened to them!
That's an awesome yarn haul there. I mean truely wonderous, even if you didn't manage five skeins per color :-)
Hi Lindy,
My granddaughter, Tori is inspired by your knitting. She loves making knitted headbands for herself and a friend. (Check out her pic on my blog. Have fun with all your great yarn. :-)
