Christmas projects

Several days ago my brothers and I made our gingerbread houses. We make them out of graham crackers. It's really fun! Here's a picture of mine. I did my roof out of candy hearts, and the smoke coming from the chimney is a squished mini marshmallow. We didn't buy new candy, this is all leftover from goodness knows when. My right window kind of 'died', but oh well, nothing is perfect! This morning I painted this red sweatshirt with fabric paint. The sleeves were getting too short on my old one. The picture doesn't do justice to the shade of red, it's much darker, and much prettier! Special thanks to my mom for helping me draw the snowflakes. (Ok, not helping. She did it.) :o) Yesterday was the last day of school, so I had a little extra time to knit. I just finished my first round dishcloth! I used this pattern. It's so pretty, it was fun to make, and it was much easier than I expected! I'm definately going to use the pattern again.

Kirby is enjoying all the Christmas activities. The other day I put a foil wrapper on his nose, and it was so cute! While I was taking pictures he fell asleep! I guess he liked it. Kirby's birthday was December 14th. He turned 4! In a perfect world, that would mean he would behave at my grandparents next week, but we all know that this isn't a perfect world!
Well, Merry Christmas everyone! We're leaving for my grandparent's house Saturday, and I'll post when I get back. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

Awww!! your gingerbread house is soooo awesome!! we normally just buy a kit, and make it that way, but it normally is so big, it takes about a week to finish it. (or longer!!) one time we actually ended up throwing most of it away because no one would eat it!! lol and one time (actually last year) just after we had finished making the gingerbread house, Josiah like, attacked it, and ate all the candy off it!!! lol. it looked like what i would call literally a gingerbread house!! with no candy!! haha lol

love you,
krissy

ps-keep me updated on anymore posts that you do!! thankya! <333

Love your gingerbread house. My boys used to make them in school - I think almost every Christmas for quite sometime. Now they even have gingerbread graham crackers. Have you seen them? I bought some and they are pretty good. My boys will eat just about anything :)

Your round cloth is awesome.Looks very difficult...you say it's pretty easy...I'll have to give it a try sometime!

Kirby is Soooo adorable. Such a cute face with the foil "nose" :)

happy holidays :) Sure hope Santa's real good to you :)

That gingerbread house is so cute! Crystal and i do that with the kids we babysit, but just little ones compared to yours.

I've never seen a round dish cloth before. That's so neat!

Kirby behaved so well for those pictures! Our dogs are like Crystal, never wanting they're picture taken.

Have a wonderful time on your trip! Our Grandparents just left from visiting with us. I'm sure you'll have fun.

I am really in awe of your round knitting. I haven't had the guts to try that yet. ;)

And Kirby is simply adorable! I made all of my family members look at his cute picture. ;)

Cute gingerbread house! Love the snowflake sweatshirt. Your mid-December KAL looks great! Mine is still on the needles, because I only had time to finish the knitting this morning, but not the actual finishing steps.

Wow, you've been very busy! Your round cloth is beautiful! I love that pattern. All of Rhonda's patterns are great.

Love the gingerbread house, too, but I'm afraid Kirby is stealing the show...lol!
