Treasure in a drawer.
Today Mom happened to mention that she had one of my old dishcloths in a drawer upstairs. She's had it in there for years, and I didn't know it! By old, I mean I made it when I was about 7. I thought all of the old ones had been either sold or given away! I'd say my knitting has improved ever so slightly. :) Here's a picture, on top of the cloth are my very first pair of knitting needles, the ones I learned to knit with.

Wow, that's so cool. You have certainly gone a long way since then. But even then, your cloth is still very pretty. I like that design. That would be cool if you could do the same pattern again, maybe with different colors, and compare them when you are through.

A treasure indeed! Thank you for sharing your early work. I'm sure it will give new knitters encouragement.
Wow...that IS a treasure!
